About the federation
The Saint Lucia Chess Federation is the governing body for chess in Saint Lucia. We run the national championships, keep the ratings, train arbiters and select the teams that represent Saint Lucia abroad.
Our mission
To develop chess in Saint Lucia with rated tournaments, junior coaching and national teams.
The federation sanctions tournaments, publishes the rating list and selects national teams for the Chess Olympiad and youth events.
It is run by an elected council of volunteers. Clubs and schools affiliate to the federation, and players join as members.
Our vision
Every district playing, and a Saint Lucian FIDE Master.
